Bhaktapur, Nepal - Kama Sutra Temple brackets

Previous | Home | Next

Pagoda style temple built in the 15th century by Achem Malla - oldest famous for Kama Sutra.

During the 15th - 17th centuriies, children were married very young (6-8 years old). They had no knowledge of sex - a devout population needed to learn more about sex in order to create more children and increase the population, so the king built this temple.

There is a Kama Sutra temple in Kathmandu's Durbar Square as well.
