To the left is the Palace of the 55 Windows, flanked to it's left by Golden Gate.

When the palace was reconstructed after the 1934 earthquake, it was built incorrectly with only 53 windows. but during the restoration beginning in 2004, 2 corner windows were added giving it the original 55 windows. The restoration was completed in 2008.
