Dhammayazaka Zedi is located a little to the northwest of New Bagan and to the west of Anauk Phwasaw Village. We went there on our third day, although we saw this gold spire from a distance many times during the past 2 days we were there. This zedi was built by King Narapatisithu in 1196 A.D. This is the largest of the 16 pentagonal monuments in Bagan. |
